Windows Virtual Desktop is an excellent product and is seeing wide adoption in the new remote working world.

However, when you have the requirement to on-board many staff with Personal desktops, rather than multi-user Pooled desktops, organisations will often turn to third party tools for help.  

What we’d like to show you is how to automate provisioning and deprovisioning with native Microsoft tooling instead – Forms, Logic Apps, and Azure Automation Runbooks.

This demo is similar to a solution we implemented for a client that required over 100 short-term developers to be on-boarded. Each user required a fully customisable environment, so pooled desktops were not the right choice.
