Strong Azure Data Lakehouse capability is a given, but what truly sets someone apart is their ability to step into our customers’ shoes. The people who thrive are those who not only understand the technology, but can offer thoughtful, practical advice that really makes a difference for our customers.
How does your team work together?
Our philosophy is simple: the team supports the team. We encourage an open, collaborative internal culture where we work together to improve our individual outcomes. People will dedicate time in their day to share knowledge, jump in to answer questions and offer coaching when someone needs a hand. Whether it’s a quick query or a full cry for help, someone is always there. Everyone contributes and supports, and everyone benefits.
What excites you about your team?
It’s the unique mix of competence and pleasant optimism. There is a really healthy level of respectful debate and discussion within the team, allowing for ideas and opportunities to form, take shape and grow, or evolve ad transform into something completely different. Our team consistently thinks about the best outcome for our customers and for each other, and that mindset makes all the difference.

How does your team work together?
We work on a variety of projects, sometimes as part of a team, and other times independently with customers. Even when we’re working alone, we’re never really alone. Our team is always ready to help, share ideas, or offer advice. We stay connected through regular chats and catch-ups, ensuring everyone feels supported and part of the crew.
What excites you about your team?
What sets our team apart is the passion we have for what we do. Each member brings unique strengths and experiences, making us stronger together. We love working with new technology, finding smarter ways to solve problems and seeing the impact our work has on customers. There’s always something new to learn and that constant growth keeps us excited for what’s next.
Do you have any memorable team projects?
One memorable project involved delivering Azure Cloud and DevOps foundations for a customer. We aligned their strategy with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework, modernised their network with a scalable vWAN architecture and integrated DevSecOps into their platform. Beyond the technical upgrades, we empowered their team with best practices in infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps workflows. Seeing their shift from legacy systems to cloud-native operations was incredibly rewarding.
Intelligent Apps
What do you look for in a team member?
We’re looking for people who are genuinely passionate about technology, especially Azure, and who love getting hands-on with it. A solid understanding of Azure’s hosting services and the broader ecosystem is important, along with real experience building systems that make the most of those capabilities. Just as important is a passion for learning; with cloud and AI evolving so quickly, curiosity and self-driven growth go a long way. We also value solid coding skills – those who excel at their craft, collaborate well in teams and take pride in testing and handling pull requests. Finally, excellent communication is key, whether presenting to peers, customers or the wider community. In consulting, communication is just as important as technical expertise.
How does your team work together?
Many of our team members have deep expertise in their areas of specialisation, but they’re always eager to share their knowledge. Everyone across the company is ready to step in and offer support whenever needed. Our work ranges from solo projects to larger delivery teams, but no matter the task, we always have the support of the entire team. We don’t see ourselves as individuals; we focus on leveraging the collective strength of everyone in the company.
What excites you about your team?
It’s the people. Our team is full of experts who are always improving and eager to help each other, creating a collaborative and supportive environment. There’s a real sense of pride in working together on exciting projects, pushing boundaries, and learning as a group. And AI – it has to be AI too. Whether we’re building problem-solving agents, developing data platforms for machine learning, or making complex systems more efficient, we’re at the forefront of technology. It’s fast-paced, exhilarating and the work we’re doing is truly groundbreaking.
Do you have any memorable team projects?
One of the most memorable projects was when a customer came to us with 58 applications running on outdated on-prem systems and needed them rebuilt in .NET and hosted in Azure. We assembled a talented team who used the latest AI tools to successfully rebuild all the applications within the required timeframe. The team’s focus, knowledge-sharing and the positive outcome for the customer made this project stand out.

What I look for in a team member?
The first thing we look for is a values fit. At Arinco, accountability, integrity, openness, respect and togetherness aren’t just words – they’re how we work. I look for people who take ownership, communicate honestly and approach challenges with curiosity and adaptability. Technical skills are important, but a collaborative attitude and alignment with our team culture are essential. If you’re keen to learn, not afraid to ask questions and ready to support your crewies, you’ll fit right in.
How does your team work together?
Our team thrives on openness and collaboration. We share knowledge constantly, jumping on Teams calls to troubleshoot, swapping ideas in chat and helping each other level up. There’s deep trust across the group; we know we’ve got each other’s backs. We also work closely with other practices at Arinco, reflecting that “togetherness” value. Our customers have described us as “a collection of really good quality people…working through solutions in a pragmatic way,” and that’s exactly how we operate.
What excites you about your team?
What excites me most is the impact and innovation we see every day. Our Secure Modern Work practice sits at the intersection of workplace technology and security, so the projects we deliver truly change how people work. It’s motivating to see our solutions free up healthcare staff to spend more time with patients, or to see people reimagine their workday with AI tools like Copilot. We’re always exploring new approaches too, using DevOps practices for modern workplace projects, or experimenting with AI to accelerate design and documentation. That mindset keeps us learning and pushing boundaries together.
Any memorable team projects?
One standout project was with a major healthcare provider. We helped them build a secure, modern workplace from the ground up, migrating over 3,000 users to Microsoft 365, implementing modern device management and uplifting their security posture. The results were huge: device setup time dropped from weeks to under 48 hours, security scores jumped dramatically, and licensing costs fell by up to 25%. Seeing that transformation and knowing we helped improve healthcare delivery for millions was incredibly rewarding.

What do you look for in a team member?
We look for likeminded people who combine curiosity, adaptability and delivery excellence with a strong collaborative mindset. We bring diverse skills and perspectives to the table and we thrive on open communication that keeps everyone aligned and engaged. What excites you about your team?
What excites me most about my team is the way we blend innovation with collaboration to drive meaningful transformation. We’re not just implementing AI tools – we’re shaping how organisations adopt them responsibly, ensuring fairness, transparency and lasting impact. I love that our team brings together diverse expertise and perspectives, creating an environment where ideas are challenged, refined and celebrated. The culture of trust, inclusivity and continuous learning makes every project feel like a shared journey, and it’s inspiring to see how our collective efforts empower others and deliver change that matters.
Any memorable team projects
A recent favourite project of ours in the education sector where we helped a national provider define an AI centre of excellence, accelerating business value and responsible AI adoption across the organisation. Key deliverables included an AI strategy and governance framework, a prioritised backlog of use cases, a capability roadmap, and an operating model for sustainable AI practices. The initiative also included a transition plan to operationalise AI solutions and rapidly light up use cases while our customer transitions to the new model.
Intelligent Co-Ops
What do you look for in a team member?
When I started my first job as teenager, my mum said to me as I walked out the door “Make sure you show initiative,” and it’s stuck with me ever since. When hiring, I’m looking for initiative, people who act independently to accomplish something, whether it’s taking the first step, solving a problem or making a new plan without being told. Arinco’s Managed Services team’s key mantra is proactivity, focusing on improving environments, not just putting out fires. Other key qualities I look for include a positive attitude, accountability and a passion for technology. While technical skills are important, it’s initiative and attitude that are the most crucial traits for an Arinco Co-Ops Crewie.
How does your team work together?
What stands out about Arinco’s Co-Ops team is the strong support and collaboration between crewies. With so many technologies in the Microsoft stack, no one can know it all, so our team constantly helps each other, sharing knowledge and solving problems together. The level of care and support is undoubtedly one of our greatest cultural strengths.
How we work together depends on the task. The Co-Ops team can shift from working together to respond to an incident, to planning an upgrade, to building new services for customers. This variety makes our work different from most Managed Service teams and keeps our team engaged because it’s not just about support, it’s about building new capabilities for our customers.
What excites you about your team?
I’m excited about our work experimenting with the Microsoft SRE Agent—an AI tool helping support teams run environments more intelligently. While it’s early days, it feels like the next evolution of Managed Services, moving toward “Managed Intelligence Providers.” I’m also excited about the growth of the Co-Ops team and the capabilities we offer. Since its inception, we’ve seen people at all stages of their careers join the team, from graduates to senior consultants. It’s been rewarding watching everyone grow their technical and consulting skills over time. It’s also awesome to see senior team members continue to develop their own skills while supporting others.
Do you have any memorable team projects?
A standout project was transforming an outdated Azure environment for a customer. We implemented the Arinco Azure Done Right landing zone, a secure, scalable foundation that enabled rapid Azure adoption and seamless workload migration. The project brought together our managed and professional services teams, combining deep expertise in security, infrastructure and modern work. Using a DevOps approach, we moved quickly, automated effectively, and delivered a modern, scalable cloud environment ready for future growth.
