1.2 Relationship with external platform providers and profile creation
From time to time we enter into arrangements (including third party platform providers) to assist Arinco in building high calibre teams for their growing businesses. You may make an application directly with us or create a profile with a third party platform provider. If you have made an application directly with Arinco, the third party platform provider may not access or use the information in your direct application for any purpose other than to service us (ie to allow the us to manage the job application and communicate with you, the applicant, via the third party platform) and to store the application within the platform on Arinco’s behalf. This Privacy Policy outlines our personal information collection and we are the primary data controller in this scenario.
If you create a profile or have an existing profile with a third party platform provider, then your direct application with us will automatically merge with your existing profile with that third party member profile, so long as the email addresses are the same. If your job application subsequently creates a third party platform profile with the same email address as used in the application with us, the information included in the new profile will override the information in the application with us. However, we may access and use your personal information in your application with us even where you never directly create a third party platform profile.
We collect and use the personal information you provide for purposes including: applying or registering your interest for employment (including student traineeships) with Arinco; joining our talent community (for the purposes of recruitment to Arinco); subscribing to our newsletters or being added to one of our mailing lists; attending one of Arinco’s seminars; downloading our whitepapers and/ or other content; purchasing or subscribing to an online service.

3.COLLECTION NOTICE FOR POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES (& TRAINEES) OF ARINCO
Arinco collects your personal information as part of our process of selection for the position for which you have applied.
Arinco does not sell, rent or trade personal information about you to or with third parties. We may disclose personal information for purposes including verifying work permits and visa requirements, reference checking and referral verifications to process any application for work with us, and as required by law or permitted under the Privacy Act. Arinco has engaged an external information technology service provider to help manage our business and deliver services. We have been assured wherever possible, our data is stored within Australia.

Most information is held in computer systems and databases operated by us or our external cloud service providers, which may only be accessed by employees of Arinco in the performance of their duties. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all third-party service providers which hold your personal information are bound by appropriate contractual obligations regarding the protection, disclosure and use of the information.
All employees are subject to confidentiality obligations as well as being bound by this policy.
